Renewed attempt at blogging #999.....

So Lusia thinks she is so cool that she has to wear her shades while she eats.... The glasses themselves really aren't so cute. They sort of look like "short bus" goggles and I've bought her cuter ones at Gymboree... Unfortunately not even size 2-4T glasses fit my little monkeys melon. Bless her heart (or I guess her head)... So she sticks with the goggles...

Today was attempt # 6 at Nursery. And Lusia wasn't havin it. Last week she figured out that if she told the teacher "poo poo" or "pee pee" that is was her get out of jail free card and someone would go and get mom and dad to save her stinky bum (whether it was stinky or not). This week she wouldn't even go there. Are we allowed to hire temps in church? Cause I need someone to do my job while I go and acclamate my kid to nursery for a month. Anyone up for the job?

Happy Birthday to Nate, #21! Wish we could be there to celebrate! That's all from the Langi's for today.

Spring 2007

K, so this blog thing is really only a good idea if I stay up with it. I just realized that I haven't posted anything for a year. I will try to do better. Lusia is getting so big and growing so fast. She runs all over the place, shakes her booty, climbs on furniture, jumps off furniture, screams her head off, and then starts all over again. This girl is NON STOP. She cracks us up and says lots of funny little words which she thinks we all understand. Her latest thing is to go and get her shoes and come and hand them to us, which is her way of saying that she wants to go outside. She has somehow learned 2 cuss words, we can't figure out what she's really trying to say, it just comes out as... A*@ and D%!#. Jake swears he didn't teach her.... Hmmmm... All I know is that she especially likes to repeat her new vocab at the Dr's office and at church. I'm sure everyone is questioning my parenting skills. Jake is doing great in school and things are going great for me at work. I won District Sales Manager of the year and we went out to the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort as a reward with my company a few weeks ago and had a blast. We are also getting ready to go on another reward trip for work in a month to Greece, Italy, and Croatia on a cruise and are super excited. Well, I am excited and Jake is just going. :) We are really enjoying our new house and are finally getting around to having the time to paint and decorate a little. We love all ya'll. Keep in touch. Love, the Langi's

Lusia and some of her daily photo shoots

Is this little girl the sweetest thing you've ever seen or what? She is cute as a button and tons of fun. We are having a blast with our little Lusia Lou. She does new things everyday. She smiles all the time and likes you to talk to her. She is a funny kid.

Lusia Lou is here!

Lusia Lou joined our family on January 16, 2006 at 6:24 p.m. She was 7 lbs. 15 oz. and 21 inches long.

Lusia's Room

Is this little girl spoiled already or what? Grandma and Cousin Natalie picked out fabrics for a quilt for Lusia after I decided on pink and chocolate brown for the nursery. I loved the fabrics so much that we did all her bedding in it. Auntie Teresa put together the whole thing, including a sheet with her name embroidered on it. ...And Jake says we can't call her princess...

June 17, 2005 - Defensive End or Outside Hitter?

Welcome to the Blog!

Welcome to the Langi Family Blog. My friend Kimberly had a baby recently and created a blog to show pics to family and friends.. I figured it was a good idea so that we could share info with all our loved ones about our soon to be new arrival. Miss Lusia is a little under 12 weeks away from her debut and we are getting excited!
